The Question

“I have a question.”

I didn’t want to hear a question. 

“How are you so skinny?”

I grinned the fake smile I had learned when I was ten when people asked me how I was feeling and I knew I had to pretend things were ok. “It helps to have so much pain every time you eat food that you can’t get up for two days,” is what I wanted to say. 

“I don’t know.”

TypeSet Poster

In November I enrolled in an online graphic design course. Last month’s class was centered on Typography, with the final assignment a typographical poster that was to both provide a background on a typeface and reflect the feeling of the type itself.
Here is my poster for Avenir, in which I hoped to evoke a sleek, futuristic vibe that also conveyed a more human softness.
